Thanks for the late start, Marriott

I called down for a 5:30 a.m. wake-up call that never came, so time is shorter than I had planned. This happens more times than I care to recount, leading me to back up the wake-up call by setting the alarm clock in the room, but this one was too hard to figure out. I’m at the Residence Inn in Charlotte, NC, by the way. I am a fan of the automated wake-up call systems. Those computers are more reliable than front-desk personnel.
