Flickr tag for IABC conference: iabc08
The more I got into uploading photos to Flickr and other venues for photo sharing, the more I wanted to shoot with something better than my pocket-sized Casio digital camera. I was also getting envious of folks like David Parmet and Josh Hallett, wandering around conferences with their SLRs. So I gave in and got a Nikon D60. The IABC international conference in New York—which begins today and runs through Wednesday—is my first opportunity to use the camera somewhere other than home. I’ve already shot a few pics at the leadership reception last night and around New York. The conference-specific pictures are all tagged iabc08. If you’re here at the conference, it would be great if you used that tag, too, so we could create a collection of everyone’s conference photos.
Here’s one I shot last night, of IABC President Julie Freeman chatting with retired Cox Communications communicator (and IABC Fellow) Lynda Stewart.
