John Deveney on PR News Award

John Deveney of Deveney Communications, New Orleans, won two PR News nonprofit awards, for Event PR and PR on a Shoestring. I spent some time with John while I was in New Orleans recently, and John graciously agreed to a short video discussion about his work related to promotion of New Orleans and the Grammy Awards. At the beginning, I mistakenly refer to the award as a PRWeek award, but John quickly corrected me.

3. Many thanks to Shel for helping us get the word out about the great things we do here in Louisiana. She, I’ve been getting lots of emails from friends who’ve seen it and can’t help but point out the “coincidence” of me standing in front of a sign announcing the “world’s best baked ham.” Great to see you in New Orleans, as always, and looking forward to seeing all again soon!
