  3. I think press releases for social media purposes are a totally different beast compared to the traditional press release where editorial control is in the hands of the owners of the newspaper, tv channel or website. With social media, the editorial control is with the people and unless they find the article engaging then it will not get any traction within the networks and thus will not get the sufficient views to make it cost effective.
