FIR Speakers & Speeches/NMRCast - Third Thursday Panel Discussion: January 18, 2007
Content summary: The Bay Area’s Third Thursday group, meeting at Shine SF in San Francisco, heard a panel discussion about the Social Media Press Release. The panel discussion was led by Chris Heuer, and featured Shel Holtz, Brian Solis, Tom Foremski, and special guest, Joel Tesch from BusinessWire.
At the session, Mike Manuel, one of Third Thursday’s founders, announced a new partnership with Social Media Club and the Society for New Communication Research.
Stowe Boyd, who was at the event and asked a few questions, voiced his alternate view of the social media release on his blog, and Chris responded on the Social Media Release blog. Nothing like a bit of controversy to get the juices flowing!
