Geeking out in Toronto

Twenty-two marketers and communicators showed up at Big Daddy’s in Toronto for the geek dinner last night, in advance of my talk today for the Association of Internet Marketing and Sales. Among them, above (clockwise from top left): Ed Lee, David Jones, Michael Seaton and Mitch Joel. It was like a reunion with a bunch of people I’d never met and renewed my appreciation for social media.

I passed my digital recorder around the table so everybody could contribute their thoughts about social media. I’m not yet sure whether I’ll play excerpts on tomorrow’s or Monday’s For Immediate Release or just make the file available here, but you’ll be able to hear from these 22 communicators one way or another at some point.
