IABC launches Cafe2Go podcast
With everything that was going on around here last week, I neglected to report that IABC has launched its new monthly podcast, Cafe2Go (named in conjunction with the IABC leader blog, the IABC Cafe). Neville and I are producing the podcasts and handling some interview chores, but the show’s cornerstone will be a regular conversation between 2006-2007 IABC Chair Glenda Holmes and President Julie Freeman. In the debut episode, they talked about an advocacy initiative the association is undertaking.
The other two segments included an interview with Jan Thibodeaux, vice chair of the IABC Research Foundation, introducing the results of the Foundation’s newly-released study on ethics in communications. And international executive board member Mark Schumann talked about a new branding program the association is undertaking.
All Cafe2Go podcasts are at blogs.iabc.com/cafe2go. You can listen directly from the Cafe2Go page, download, or subscribe to the RSS feed. As of this writing, the show has been retrieved 43 times. That leaves only about 13,957 members to go. Of course, the podcast is also available to non-members.
