Pizzo blogs the Ragan conference
I’m in Las Vegas—Caesars Palace, to be precise—for Ragan Communications’ 14th annual Corporate Communicator’s Conference. It’s a good show, so far. I saw Matthew Podboy give a great session on how communicators can use wikis. And I just wrapped up a presentation on the potential for business podcasting. But you don’t need to be here to get some value out of the conference. You can read the blog.
Ragan is hosting the blog, which former IABC Chairman Charles Pizzo is writing. He’s posting in pretty close to real time on as many sessions as he possibly can, and he’s doing it with his usual wry humor. Ragan is requiring no review or approval, and Charles isn’t an employee, so it’s an interesting arrangement leading to some candid observations. Commenting is open on the blog; I saw Jeremy Pepper has already thrown in a couple.
